A Distinguished Emeritus Professor at the State University of New York, and currently Research Professor at the University of Central Florida, he is ranked among the top 900 neuroscientists worldwide, Dr. Salvi has received numerous honors from the US, China, and Italy, Dr. Salvi’s research directly aligns with Therapeutic Vision’s mission to prevent and treat sensory loss. His work has defined key mechanisms underlying noise-, drug-, and age-related hearing loss, as well as tinnitus and hyperacusis.
