Peter F. Kador, Ph.D., F.A.R.V.O., is the President/CEO. Dr. Kador is trained as a medicinal chemist. After a 25 year career at the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, Dr. Kador retired as Chief of the Laboratory of Ocular Therapeutics and moved to Omaha, NE where he holds a faculty position as Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Milton Wyman, M.S., D.V.M., D.A.C.V.O.
Senior Veterinary Ophthalmologist
Milton Wyman, M.S., D.V.M., D.A.C.V.O., is the Senior Veterinary Ophthalmologist. Dr. Wyman is Professor Emeritus from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine as well as a retired Veterinary Ophthalmologist from MedVet Medical and Cancer Center for Pets of Worthington, OH. He is a founding father of the College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. Dr. Wyman served as a consultant to the NEI Canine Retinopathy Study headed by Dr. Kador and is currently the Principal Investigator for the Kinostat® Trial.

Karen Blessing, B.S., R.V.T., is the Research Coordinator. Ms. Blessing has assisted Dr. Kador on his research projects at both the National Eye Institute and at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and now coordinates the Kinostat® trial.

Suellen Kador, B.A., is the corporation Secretary/Treasurer. She has 31 years of experience as a high school chemistry teacher and 6 years as a laboratory instructor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chemistry Department.

William E. Thompson, B.A., C.P.A., serves as a financial and business advisor. Currently the Managing Partner of Thompson, Cooling, & Associates LLC, he has been a partner in the Certified Public Accounting firm for over 30 years. Specializing in small business consulting, accounting, and income tax, Mr. Thompson has been involved in various business activities, including strategy, management, banking, structure, and procedures. Prior to Thompson, Cooling & Associates LLC he was a consultant with Deloitte & Touche in their small business consulting group. Projects included IPO’s, general ledger conversions, and third party reviews. He has also owned various companies in which he was responsible for all aspects of management and performance.

Marjorie Lou, Ph.D., F.A.R.V.O.
Marjorie Lou, Ph.D., F.A.R.V.O., serves as a Scientific Consultant. Dr. Lou, a long-time collaborator of Dr. Kador, is an expert on the role of oxidation in cataract formation. She is the retired Willa Cather Professor of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to this position, Dr. Lou was a Research Director at Alcon Laboratories, Ft. Worth, TX.
